Hibs defeat ‘not a good look’ — Dylan Levitt

Dylan Levitt admits that Hibernian’s 1-0 loss to Kelty Hearts is “not a good look.”

Hibs suffered their first defeat under David Gray as head coach at New Central Park, but the club remains in first place in Scottish League Cup Group C.

Callum Flatman’s second-half header was enough to give the League 1 side the victory.

“We didn’t move the ball quick enough, some sloppy mistakes in some key areas, and we got punished from a set piece, which we knew coming into the game that would really be their only hope of scoring a goal,” Levitt, 23, told HibsTV.

“Overall, it’s not a good appearance, especially given the fresh additions. We must perform far better than that.

“In the first half, we struck the post three times. If those goals go in it’s an entirely different game.

However, you are constantly chasing the game after being sucker-punched, and it is clear that they are slowing things down.

We were not clinical enough, even if we were in some decent positions.”
