Pre-tax earnings for the year ending January 31, 2024, were reported by Northamptonshire to be £86,813 in value.

Despite increasing energy, cricketing, and catering costs, external Northants disclosed in a statement that the profit was “in line with the club’s expectations at the start of the year.”

“The club’s revenue for 2023 pleased me,” stated Ray Payne, chief executive of the Northants.

He said that the T20 Blast’s “strong” home audiences and the additional revenue from sponsorship and television rights for international cricket—which are allocated by the England and Wales Cricket Board—had a positive impact on the numbers.

Northants’ statement comes after the club announced in February it had agreed a 125-year lease for a new ground for its academy and women’s and disabled teams at New Manor Farm in Moulton.

The club have resided at The County Ground in Abington since 1886.
