Alexis Sanchez, a former forward for Manchester United and Arsenal, has returned to Udinese on a free transfer, 18 years after initially joining.
Inter Milan dismissed the 35-year-old after his contract ran out in July.
Sanchez, a player with Udinese from 2006 to 2011, agreed to a two-year deal.
After arriving from Barcelona in 2014, he scored 80 goals in 166 appearances for Arsenal. However, following a trade agreement to United in 2018, he only scored five goals in 45 games.
Sanchez moved on loan to Inter in 2019 and became a permanent resident there the following year.
After his Inter contract was terminated in 2022, he spent a season at Marseille before returning to Inter to help them win the Serie A title last season.
Udinese finished sixth from bottom.
