Although Scott McTominay’s future may still be away from Old Trafford, Manchester United has rejected an offer for the player from Premier League rival Fulham.
Despite having played for the Red Devils his whole career, the Scotland international is now again being linked to a transfer elsewhere after nearly departing last year.
A £30 million deal for McTominay was turned down by West Ham in the summer of 2023, and Fulham has already had an offer knocked down during this transfer window.
As per the Daily Mail, the West London club made a proposal that was less than the £30 million that the Hammers gave the previous year, and the Red Devils rejected it.
Galatasaray also hold an interest in the 27-year-old and it is possible that Fulham could return with a second bid for his signature.
Despite appearing to have dropped in the hierarchy, McTominay was a surprise important member of Manchester United’s squad the previous season, with injuries to teammates giving him more opportunities than he had anticipated.
During the previous season, the Scot made 43 appearances across all competitions and scored a career-high 10 goals. In spite of this, the Red Devils are willing to sell their academy product for at least £30 million if the appropriate offer is made.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is another Manchester United player who could be on the move this summer, with West Ham interested in the full-back.
The former Crystal Palace defender is in the last year of his deal at Old Trafford, which was extended to the summer of next year by the team.
The Englishman sits below Diogo Dalot in the right-back hierarchy, so the Red Devils may profit from him if an offer is made. However, he could go for free at the conclusion of the season.
West Ham is thinking about making a £15 million bid to see how serious Manchester United is about the situation.
