In a preseason friendly in Tokyo, Tottenham defeated Japanese champions Vissel Kobe 3-2 thanks to a late goal from Mikey Moore.
The 16-year-old winger gave Ange Postecoglou’s team the victory with a close-range strike in the 88th minute.
Tottenham had taken the lead with a goal from Son Heung-min in the second half, but Vissel Kobe equalized just after the hour mark when Jean Patric blasted past Brandon Austin.
Earlier, Pedro Porro used a deft backheel from Dejan Kulusevski to negate Vissel Kobe’s first goal by Yuya Osako.
Spurs will travel to captain Son’s native South Korea on Wednesday to continue their preseason campaign against K League All-Stars.
They will then face Bayern Munich, who will be without former Spurs forward Harry Kane, on 3 August in Seoul.
