Burnley and Tottenham have come to an agreement about the signing of winger, Wilson Odobert.
The 19-year-old will wear the number 28 shirt in north London after verbally agreeing to a five-year contract that would last until 2029.
Odobert moved to Burnley from Troyes in 2023. During the previous season, he made 32 appearances in all competitions and scored four goals.
However, after being demoted to the Championship, the Clarets knew they would always have difficulty holding onto Odobert.
Odobert, a France U21 international, made two appearances for his country at the 2024 Olympics on home turf as Thierry Henry’s side lost to Spain in the final.
Spurs have signed Archie Gray, Dominic Solanke and Min-hyeok Yang so far this summer, while Lucas Bergvall has joined after an agreement was reached in January.
Ange Postecoglou’s side open their Premier League campaign against Leicester City on Saturday.
Solanke is expected to be handed his debut for the club.
